Josh Beauchaine, MA, LMFT, CNDAI
Josh Beauchaine is known as a direct, insightful, and firmly supportive interventionist. Integrating his 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Josh strives to help families implement a safe and effective approach to helping a loved one enter recovery.
Josh focuses on using strategic coaching to help each family member learn how to “motivate” the treatment decision without having to attack, embarrass, or abandon the very person they are trying to help.
During his thousands of hours of experience in the counseling field, Josh has intervened in almost every addiction category imaginable including alcohol, narcotics, marijuana, sexual behaviors, eating, pornography, spending, and gambling. He has held positions as the head counselor of an addiction recovery home, a psychotherapist, a pastoral counselor, a youth pastor, an assistant school counselor, and a mental health worker at a residential treatment center for severely emotionally disturbed adolescents.
Josh received his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Communications from Point Loma Nazarene University and his Master’s of Science in Counseling from California State University at Fullerton.
